I was captivated by the stunning colour, and the unusual cut of this strand of Green Onyx, which I bought to make into cute little pendants.

Green is the colour of the heart chakra, with reminds us to connect to the energy of LOVE. It is also the colour of HOPE and LUCK and we can all do with some of that given the last year we’ve had.

14 carat gold fill is a fabulous alternative to pure gold without the heart stopping cost. It is typically up to 100 times thicker than gold plate and is a far superior product which lasts the test of time without costing the earth. Totally unlike gold plated jewellery with the right care it doesn't wear through, and is described as a 'lifetime' product.

⭐️ GREEN ONYX ~ CRYSTAL INFORMATON ⭐️
ONYX is a variety of the crystal CHALCEDONY, which is a cryptocrystalline ( which means having a microscopic crystalline structure) form of QUARTZ.
Quartz is known as the ‘master healer’ in crystal healing, because it is has such an amazing energy.
GREEN ONYX that looks like this, is actually the crystal ‘Chalcedony’, and widely (but incorrectly) described as onyx. Confusing, yes I know !
Given Chalcedonys beautiful translucence and versatility for jewellery, it is almost always colour enhanced before it is cut into beads or cabouchons, and then made into jewellery.
In fact ALL GREEN ONYX that is this rich emerald green colour you’ll see in jewellery right now is ALL colour enhanced, even the super expensive ones from Monika Vinander, Wolf & Badger, Astley Clarke and even Liberty of London.
It’s all the same crystal … just so you know ;-)
Given how captivating this particular strand was, and despite the fact I don’t typically work with colour enchanced crystals, I thought I’d try them out and see if you like them. I’d love to know what you think ?
