TURQUOISE ~ has long been considered a holy stone by American Indians, representing both 'Mother earth' and 'Father sky'. Ancient beliefs handed down though the ages speak of Turquoise as a magic stone bringing wisdom and truth, and providing protection against harm.
I'm combining the beauty and energy of TURQUOISE with the beautiful symbology of the never ending, and ETERNAL CIRCLE. CIRCLES are sacred, representing unity, wholeness, and completeness.

TURQUOISE
Turquoise is one of the most beautiful and ancient gemstones, and has long been cherished and associated with many ancient civilizations.
Archaeological excavations have found turquoise jewellery dating back as far as 3000 BC, and the earliest use of the gemstone dating back to 6000 BC. Turquoise was also found in King Tutankhamun, and his famous burial mask was also inlaid with turquoise.

TURQUOISE BUYING NOTE:
Genuine naturally occurring turquoise (turquois) is a rare and valuable hydrated copper aluminium phosphate mineral. Due to the opaque blue to green hue of finer grades it has been enjoyed as a gem and ornamental stone for thousands of years. Natural turquoise is a porous stone so stabilising the mineral with resin seals it protecting the natural colour and prevents it from absorbing unwanted elements or drying out.
With natural (genuine) turquoise now an extraordinarily rare mineral, cheap alternatives have been developed by dying other minerals such as HOWLITE, or MAGNESITE and fraudulently passing them off as Turquoise. Or by grinding up lower grade turquoise mixing with epoxy and dye to create a reconstituted product known as Chalk Turquoise.
This product is real Turquoise which has been 'stabilised' and colour enhanced.
