This type of black tourmaline grows in the earth in long strands or 'rods' like a long stick of liquorice and you can see the natural markings and striations on the side of each crystal.
Unlike other black tourmaline pendants these pieces retain their beautiful individuality and have not been ground down and shaped and polished to remove their natural features.
