These lovely red Agate gemstones remind me of little cranberries !
I've crafted Sterling Silver pendant from three 8mm gemstone beads wired onto a Sterling Silver hoop, and strung onto an 18" diamond cut Sterling Silver curb chain. The pendant 'drop' itself is 20mm.
I'm also harnessing the 'power of three' in this design. In numerology the number 3 is a powerful number, and has associations in 'manifestation' i.e. bringing what you want into your life, 'creativity' and the principles of 'growth'.
AGATE: In ancient times warriors carried Agate into battle for courage, strength and protection. Agate has been discovered with the artifacts of Neolitic people, and it was used as healing amulets dating back to ancient Babylon. Its medicinal uses continued through the ancient Greek and Egyptian civilisations, and spread throughout Africa and the Middle East into Russia.
Agate is believed to have a many healing qualities, and is a wonderful calming stone for harmonising body, mind and spirit by removing and transforming negative energy and protecting against stress.
