This simple and elegant pendant is made with lovely faceted hematite beads, which I've wired onto a Sterling Silver hoop, and strung onto an 18" diamond cut Sterling Silver curb chain. The pendant 'drop' itself is 20mm.
I'm also harnessing the 'power of three' in this design. In numerology the number 3 is a powerful and sacred number, and has associations in 'manifestation' ie bringing what you want into your life, 'creativity' and the principles of 'growth'.
HEMATITE
Hematite is the mineral form of iron oxide. It is a powerful protection stone and said to protect the wearer’s vital energy and survival. Hematite amulets have been found in nearly every pharaoh’s tomb as a support in the afterlife.
Physically, Hematite has a strong connection with blood, and is said to strengthen and regulate the blood supply. Its reputed healing properties are based on the high iron content.
Sometimes known as the “stress stone” Hematite is excellent for grounding and balancing energy, as well as being a powerful aid to stimulate the mind. It enhances memory, evokes deep thought, aids communication and brings balance and clarity to the situation.
