I managed to source this absolutely STUNNING strand of 'AA' grade natural GARNET, and the colour is utterly SUMPTUOUS.
A deep rich red wine colour and stunningly delicate faceting, they were begging to be made into pendants.

When I tune into the energy of garnet, it feels loving, calming, reassuring and grounding, and gives me that comforting sense that ... everything is going to be just fine.
GARNET works with both the heart & root chakra. It works with the heart chakra and promote love and self-confidence. At the root it helps the body connect with the revitalising energy of the Earth to bring a sense of calm and grounded connection to the present, releasing any worry, fear or anxiety. References to Garnet date back to 3100 B.C. when the Egyptians used garnets as inlays in jewellery. Since antiquity garnets have been famous for their inner sparkle.
In Hinduism and Buddhism it is seen as a holy stone that enlightens the soul and gives wisdom. The crown of the German emperor Otto (912-973 was decorated with the most famous garnet of all, known as ‘the Wise One”, and Knights and warriors decorated their weapons and shields with garnets.
Garnet's properties also lend itself to help alleviate worry, panic or fear. Helping one to feel beautifullysupported in one’s needs and desires, and in giving and receiving love. Garnet is said to help stimulate past-life recall. Sharpens perceptions of oneself and others. Garnet can also help remove inhibitions and taboos. Can be helpful in supporting recuperation after injury. Has also been used to help access past-life memories and clearing karmic patterns.

WHAT is 14 carat GOLD FILL, and why is it so great !
14 carat gold fill is a fabulous alternative to pure gold without the heart stopping cost. It is typically up to 100 times thicker than gold plate and is a far superior product which lasts the test of time without costing the earth. Totally unlike gold plated jewellery with the right care it doesn't wear through, and is described as a 'lifetime' product.
